From it's founding in 1969 as Agricultural Industrial Technology (AID), our company, headquartered in Catania Italy, has been an industry leader in the development of cutting edge technology dedicated to improving citrus farming methods and citrus crop yields. Our electronically controlled anti-frost wind machines are deployed around the world as effective safeguards against unusually cold temperatures in citrus growing areas. Similarly, our Polyguard HP 300 is extensively deployed and utilized as a protective shield against frost and pests.

In the 1980's, we began development of new technologies and new machines directed at citrus fruit harvesting, citrus fruit quality grading and juice extracting from whole fruits. The Oranfresh line of juice extractors was first introduced into the marketplace in the 1990's and within a few years, a unique and patented extraction process separated the Oranfresh OR-M5 counter-top juicer from the field. From 1998 to the present, under it's new corporate banner Agroindustry Advanced Technologies (A.A.T. A.p.A.), our company has continued to expand it's product offerings to the food service industry and watched with satisfaction as the Oranfresh product line achieved increasing success in the European and Asian marketplace.
